Skills BootcampsBarfection has successfully delivered a crucial skills training programme for the hospitality sector in Greater Manchester, hailed as a significant boost to the region’s night-time economy. Partnering with Greater Manchester Combined Authority, this initiative was designed to address the skills gap and support the recovery and growth of the hospitality industry.
The programme equipped participants with essential skills in bartending, customer service, and hospitality management, combining practical training with insights from industry experts. Attendees gained valuable experience that has already begun to translate into employment opportunities across the region’s vibrant hospitality scene. Sacha Lord, Greater Manchester’s Night Time Economy Adviser, praised the initiative, stating, “Training programmes like this are essential to sustaining and growing our hospitality sector.
