What is a Skills Bootcamp?
A Skills Bootcamp is a bespoke designed programme which will help you obtain the much sought after skills needed by employers in Greater Manchester. Government funding is available which means it comes at zero cost to the applicant.
Who are they for?
19+ year olds
Unemployed looking for a new role within hospitality, or;
Employed looking to develop their current role in hospitality, or;
An individual returning to the industry.
What is involved?
8 - 16 week programme consisting of 1 to 2 sessions per week.
Most delivery takes place on either a Monday night and/or Tuesday day
Blended delivery with some sessions face to face and some online.
What is the planned outcome?
The planned outcome is to move you into employment or develop your existing role.

This training has been made possible thanks to Greater Manchester Combined Authority securing funding for Skills Bootcamps, forming part of the Government’s Lifetime Skills Guarantee and funded through the Department of Education’s National Skills Fund. They are free, flexible courses of up to 16 weeks, giving people the opportunity to build up sector-specific skills and fast track to an interview with a local employer.
